Let’s join our hands to send aid to Ukraine
With your generous contributions, LFH has already donated $10,000 to support US based organizations helping in Ukraine.
Given the severity of the situation, LFH is not able to provide help directly as we usually do. As a result, we have chosen to support organizations already helping on the ground as they have the logistics and ability to go into the areas in the middle of the current conflict. So far, we have chosen two organizations to support.
One of these organizations is sending twenty 40-foot containers of medical supplies to Ukrainian hospitals in Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and other cities. This organization has been working in the area since the year 2000 and has logistics already in place to deliver supplies through neighboring countries via land transport. They are also sending aid via air.
The second organization is helping families and individuals through direct grants of funds or goods. The organizations we are supporting have years of experience, are operated by volunteers and/or have very low overhead. They are also highly rated U.S. based charities.
With your support, we can continue sending money to those organizations. We are still researching other ways to join our hands and help our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
